Mardi Jones ( Managing Director - BAS Agent - Tax Agent - CPA )

In July 2013 Mardi Jones acquired Bookkeeping 4 Your Business and is the Managing Director. Mardi has over 18 years' of accounting experience across a broad range of industries and individuals. She has a wealth of knowledge and skills gained over this time, advising on accounting, bookkeeping and taxation. Mardi's professional credentials include Bachelor of Accounting and CPA. Mardi is a registered BAS Agent and Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioner Board.
Through her highly developed analytical skills Mardi is able to bring a unique insight into the needs of a company's bookkeeping and accounting requirements. Under Mardi's leadership Bookkeeping 4 Your Business is focused on continuing to deliver a high quality of service and expertise in all areas of bookkeeping services.

Sharon Clifford ( BAS Agent )

Sharon's experience and knowledge across all facets of bookkeeping and accounting is second to none as she has over 15 years experience in the profession. As well as performing the bookkeeping role in her previous positions, she is also experienced in:

  • the preparation of personal and business tax returns;
  • the preparation of business financial statements;
  • the preparation of corporate compliance documentation;
  • arranging and negotiating business insurance including public liability insurance and workers compensation;
  • budgeting, marketing and quoting.

Sharon is also very experienced in the use of MYOB and has gained a very high working knowledge of this program. She has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting from Newcastle TAFE as well as a Secretarial Certificate. Sharon is a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.

Susan Stafford ( BAS Agent )

Sue's early work career was in the banking sector having worked in the UK and Australia in this field. She has also worked for the British Trade Commission in New York but it was the establishment and successful financial management of her family owned Pest Control business in New South Wales where her bookkeeping prowess blossomed. She soon became well known for her financial skills and was helping other businesses and non-profit organizations to setup and maintain healthy bookkeeping practices.
Through the 90's Sue developed many and varied skills in all types of electronic bookkeeping to meet the demands of her clients. This lead to Sue obtaining a specialist qualification and accreditation with QuickBooks through Intuit. As an accredited QuickBooks Trainer Sue helped many small businesses make the transition into the era of GST bookkeeping. Sue comes with a wealth of know and is a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.
2005 saw Sue receiving the QuickBooks Accredited Partner status (Bookkeeping) with Intuit, and her strengths continued to multiply. In her own words her self-developed specialty is now what she terms "Creating order out of Chaos" bringing outdated backlogs of work into a systematic and up to date methodology.

Montse Molina ( Cert II Business )

Montse has over ten years’ experience in Business and General Booking with a Certificate II in Business. She has had hands on working experience in all aspects of business management and bookkeeping, with strong problem solving abilities, skills, resources and the capability to handle financial paperwork with speed and accuracy. Montse’s strengths lie in the understanding of how to resolve complex bookkeeping issues with efficiency and accuracy.
Montse has sound bookkeeping knowledge in:

  • keeping complete, accurate, and up-to-date financial records
  • tracking of accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • bank reconciliations
  • supplier reconciliation
  • Receivables and payables
  • Preparation for audit
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet reports
  • Preparation of BAS, GST, and IAS statements

Montse is also very experienced in the use of MYOB and XERO and in her knowledge of these programs.

Murray Hirst (accounting/bookkeeping professional)

Rachael Zumaeta ( BAS Agent )

Rachael is an experienced bookkeeper having worked with a variety of clients since 2007.
Rachael has a Certificate IV in bookkeeping and is a registered BAS Agent. She is also a member of the Australian Bookkeepers Network which keeps her up to date with changes within the bookkeeping industry. Qualified on both MYOB and Xero, Rachael excels in both systems. It is her passion to reduce paperwork so as to make the business owner’s life easier. Rachael’s experience, enthusiasm, qualifications and her focused work ethic enables her to achieve excellence in all areas of bookkeeping. Whilst growing her own successful personal business, working with a variety of businesses is what Rachael loves, as it provides her with diversity and challenges.

Kelli Sugars ( BAS Agent )

Kelli is our backlog whizz! If your bookwork is behind then Kelli is your answer! Kelli enjoys the many challenges that bookkeeping brings and the diversity of Bookkeeping 4 Your Business' client base is particularly appealing to Kelli as each client has different accounting aspects to consider. Never a dull moment!
Kelli has a strong background in accounts. She has 6 years experience as an accounts clerk before taking the next step into office management. The experience and knowledge she gained across the many accounting functions from this position, led to her undertake a bookkeeping role. She has now been bookkeeping for 5 years and is currently completing her qualification in Certificate IV Financial Services in (Bookkeeping). Kelli is a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.

Deborah Sidney ( BAS Agent )

As a Bookkeeper, Manager and Business consultant I have had the privilege of working with many different clubs, pubs, businesses, companies and a university in a diverse number of roles. Each of these businesses did have similarities, in that every business earns income and has expenditure, how the finances are managed makes all the difference to the successful outcome of any business. Bookkeeping is the very foundation of business, and it is the bookkeepers position to put it all in place for the business owners while they are busy using their own core skills to make their business a success.
My skills and qualifications allow me the potential to contribute to an organisation's mission in the pursuit of excellence, particularly by demonstrating accountability and responsibility, developing teamwork, partnerships and innovation for the delivery of financial services. Over the years I have also undertaken further studies in Accounting 1 & 2, Associate Diploma of Business Management, * Principles of Management, * Communication for Business * Behaviour in the Workplace.
I am a Registered BAS Agent with the TPB and I am currently an independent Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
